Cats:

• None in the Valley currently — Tasmanian Animal Rescue and Sanctuary has ceased operation.  We recommend Rescue Cats Safe Haven in Hobart for cats: they are a no-kill shelter.  We do not recommend Ten Lives Cat Centre, which does not have a no-kill policy and has killed several surrendered cats without consultation (entirely in accordance with the paperwork they require you to sign, of course).
